On November 5th, District faculty and administration held a community information night that provided the School District 81 community with information regarding Common Core State Standards, the Standards Based Report Card and the PARCC Assessment. Information was shared regarding how District 81 students are being graded, and how District 81 is preparing students to be college and career ready.
For parents who were unable to attend the meeting and as a resource, the District has shared a video recording of the event on the School District 81 website, as well as the presentation given that evening, and the responses to parents’ questions.
