School District 81 serves preschool-eighth grade students in the communities of Schiller Park and a section of Franklin Park.
John F. Kennedy School has a student population of 652 children, with students in preschool through 3rd grade.
Washington Elementary School has 226 fourth and fifth graders, and Lincoln Middle School has 361 students in attendance.
All three District 81 schools have made Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) in Reading and Mathematics consistently since 2002, and students continually meet and exceed state standards, as evidenced by the current Illinois State Achievement Test (ISAT).

IMSA E2K+
Middle school students who excel in Math and Science have the opportunity to participate in an after-school enrichment program offered through the International Math and Science Academy (IMSA).
Students in IMSA meet once a week with two Lincoln Math and Science teachers who teach the program, and challenge themselves with engaging learning activities that increased their skills and knowledge.
Homework Center
Students who need help with homework and a quiet place to study can stay after school to complete their assignments and use computers for projects.
Community Programs:
Parents as Teachers (PATS)
Parents as Teachers is an early childhood parent education and family support program offered through Kennedy School designed to help all parents give their children birth through age 3 the best possible start in life. The program includes personalized home visits, group meetings, screenings, a resource network, and weekly playgroup meetings.
Family Literacy Program
School District 81 has formed a partnership with Triton College to offer English language classes for parents and community members. Classes and babysitting are offered at no cost.
Parents as Educational Partners (PEP)
Parents come together to strengthen the home-school partnership, meet and socialize with others in the school community, and receive support and ideas on how to help their children succeed in school.
